Company Overview
Genbiz Trading 1001 (Pty) Ltd t/a Xerox Eastern Cape (XEC) is your exclusive supplier of Xerox products and services in the Eastern Cape. The company was formed in 1981 under the name of Aloe Office and Business Equipment, and has ever since had its roots firmly entrenched in the Eastern Cape.
Prior to 1 March 2019, the company was locally owned. However, on 1 March 2019, Altron TMT SA Group (Pty) Ltd acquired a majority stake in the company.
Furthermore, on 1 August 2019, we successfully merged the company with Digi Copiers; who represented the Xerox brand in the Port Elizabeth region, to form one entity to service the entire Eastern Cape, now known as Xerox Eastern Cape.
We have a staff compliment of 135 people, and an annual turnover exceeding R200 million.
Our Team
We have expanded our offices with representation in East London (Head Office), Port Elizabeth, Graaff Reinet, Grahamstown and Mthatha, with the prospect of more satellite offices opening in more regions shortly.
We have a technical team comprising of 42 highly trained and specialised technicians, spread equally across the region. Together with this technical team, we have call centres in all offices, equipped and ready to meet your after-sales and servicing requirements.
Our sales team is 18 strong, also spread equally across the region. Our team is highly trained in their product offering and have many years of collective sales experience between them.
